I love almost everything about this appliance. It is easy to clean; it heats food evenly; the temperature seems to be true to the cook time I expect. The only part I don't like, that I can only use the air fry setting by using the app on my phone - maybe because I'm getting old? I just want a knob for it! It does look great in my kitchen - very stylish (and functional).

We just installed our 36" CAFE dual heat range/oven. So far we love it! There is much flexibility in oven settings and burner options. The center midsize burners have enough heat range to cook most things and the side high BTU and simmer burners lend added flexibility. The oven is big enough to handle multiple dishes while the convection option circulates the heat evenly. I also like the "warming" function. The beauty of the appliance is an added bonus!

The appliance looks great and works great most of the time. However, sometimes when you turn on the top burners, all the burners spark continuously while that one™™s running. We also had some broken knobs we noticed soon after delivery. Unfortunately, the working part of the knob on the inside is plastic, and that piece broke. The company did get us some new knobs and they™™ve worked well ever since. The stove is a nice upgrade in size over the regular size stove. Nice capacity, just has the burner issue since day one.

We love everything this range has to offer and it's easy to clean and very heavy-duty. We love that we had the options to change the handles and knobs to perfectly match the aesthetics and design of our new kitchen. We opted for matte black and changed handles and knobs to champagne bronze. We love it!!!

I expected better than this

We had this brand new range installed on 10/25/24. After turning on the oven to try it out, it shut off 20 minutes later and will not turn back on. We immediately submitted a claim to GE and were told we had to have the problem diagnosed by a repair company of their choice rather than receiving a replacement because we were outside of the ridiculous 7 day return window (it had been 16 days since delivery because we were finishing a full kitchen remodel). The following week a repair company thought they properly diagnosed the problem, then parts were back ordered and once finally in stock, the assumed problem turned out not to be the actual problem and now it has been a month of this brand new, inoperable oven sitting in my kitchen. I have called GE multiple times and spent hours on the phone with them and keep getting the run around, being told that there is nothing they can do to help me until the oven is deemed ™non-repairable™. By the time the oven might be fixed, it will have been torn apart at least two times and while it might work, it will be FAR from looking brand new. When I asked the last woman I spoke with what their solution will be to fix any scratches or exterior damage the oven sustains during their required repair, she told me that GE doesn™™t cover any cosmetic damage. This is ridiculous for an $8000 oven. I am also unhappy about the wear and tear my brand new kitchen floors, cabinets, and countertops are sustaining through this process. GE obviously has very poor quality control and even worst customer service. Oh, and they offered me a measly $50 for ™dinner on GE™ while I™™ve been tasked with the challenge of planning dinner for a family of 5 without an operable oven for the last month and for who knows how much longer. I really wish I could just return this oven and purchase a new one from a company with better customer service after this experience. Very disappointed in GE!

I really could not be happier! I ordered the 36™ dual fuel range and it is sooo nice. I had an electric stove before and spent the extra money during our kitchen renovation to have a gas line run ($$$) and purchase the dual fuel range/oven. We have only been using this stove for a few weeks and it is amazing so far. I never thought I would use the connectivity to WiFi and we haven™™t linked it to Alexa yet but just having my watch tell me that the oven timer is going off when I™™m downstairs doing laundry was something I didn™™t expect to use and it™™s been great! We bought different color hardware than came with the range and installed it ourselves, it was super easy to install and really feels custom. So far, I couldn™™t be happier!

Model ge cafe c2y366p3t1d1 Just delivered today, it looks like dark gray not black as ordered, very disappointed, the steel enamel top is also gray not black. After checking with Costco you have a choice of Black, White and Stainless Steel, so no gray. So need to send this back.

I called Cafe Sales to ask a few questions about installation to make sure the range and backsplash will properly fit. The representative did not have any technical knowledge about the range or any aspect of the installation. These ranges are very expensive, so making sure they will properly fit prior to purchase seems reasonable.

I am sadly disappointed by this range. The range came from the factory calibrated 25° off temperature. Fiddling with trying to adjust temperature just doesn't work. Cannot bake a satisfactory cake or bread even with adjusting to compensate. Only sets temperature in 25° increments. I miss my truly professional range as this is not professional in any way.

The unit cooks just fine but there are several areas that are really quite sub par from a design standpoint. The display is small, hard to read and placed under the stainless steel lip of the range top. The range knobs are under the same lip and very hard to read when setting your range flame. There is no clock. The fan for the oven comes on and stays on for a very long time after the stove has been turned off. And, that fan is quite loud. These are things that would prevent me from buying it again unless it was redesigned.

After years of wanting a 6 burner gas stove we finally set out to purchase one and we wanted to be happy with our result and we ™needed™ it to have style. We considered a couple of more expensive stoves but after analyzing reviews, talking with salesmen, and evaluating purchase costs and headaches of potential repairs, we selected this cafe. We love the walk feature and the fact that the low burner doesn™™t waist space by allow having the ability to be a hot burner. I also love the features of the app and I used air fry to cook cauliflower and it was fascinating..

We ordered matte black and this thing is far from black. It™™s gray not what we™™d hoped when we designed our kitchen. The pictures online are very misleading & I couldn™™t be more disappointed that I bought the entire kitchen appliance set in that color. The gas range works great! The oven has two issues. First, the fan is so noisy you can barely have a conversation near the oven. The fan runs during and after cooking for 20-30 minutes, so dont buy this oven if your island is nearby. Second, the oven timer DOESNT TURN OFF THE OVEN WHEN ITS COMPLETE. Why have an oven timer? Very disappointing.

I love having a wok burner, and being able to pressure can and cook dinner at the same time. It's also nice to be able to use the oven as a massive air fryer when doing massive batches of egg rolls. What I don't love is the temp probe. It refuses to work when I plug it in and need it, but will randomly turn itself on and request me to set a temperature at other times, and will do this for hours. Other than this annoying problem, it works well.

The Range that Never Worked

The range itself is fine, however, in September 2020, when the range was 6 months old and still within GE's warranty, it broke and none of the six burners will light without turning on the gas and lighting a match. We have spent countless hours on the phone with GE to no avail. It is now December 2021, 15 months since the range broke, and it still has not been repaired. Although it broke when it was in warranty, GE refuses to honor that warranty. Please buy any range except something made by GE/Cafe. We are stuck with a $7000 broken range.
