Looks great but terrible quality for the price. Steel ones are coming for 500 and this one is 3500 but still quality is terrible. Was giving issues from 1st year and died on us in 3rd year

We like the design but the lights on the display all went out ....Drawer still cools but American made appliances just don't seem to hold up or last like they used too.....its not a setting either ....I know there is a setting to shut down all the display numbers for the Jewish holiday but its not that

Less than 2 years old and like the other 1 star comments the display has stopped working. We used all GE Cafe appliances in our kitchen renovation and it was by far the worst part of the entire process. Pieces were damaged at install, had manufacturing defects, and GE service took forever to resolve the issues. Would not recommend this or any other GE appliances to anyone. This was supposed to be our dream kitchen and the GE appliances have made that not the case. I suspect they will reply to this comment with some sort of illusion of help but I have zero faith they can follow through.

This is an appliance that I never knew I needed and I absolutely love it! It keeps extra drinks cold and provides extra storage for special occasions when more space is needed. It looks great too!

Great little refrigerator. Keeps the temperature you set. Convenient storage rails for things like beverages, and where you want to separate items. Had to make some small adjustments to the cabinet to fit properly, but not difficult to do.

We™™ve had the undercounter dual-drawer refrigerator now for four months. The temp stays at a constant 38°F ™"perfect for keeping beverages cold. But there are a couple of issues: we hear constant popping and cracking noises coming from the unit, and every couple days we have to mop up (with paper towels) water in the upper drawer. Can we get an answer or recommended fix?

I've had this fridge for 3.5. years with no major problems. Yes, there's ice build up in the lower drawer but it's not a deal breaker. I've used higher end ones that froze cans of beer to the point of them exploding.
This past week, the GE Cafe's display panel light went dark. The fridge still works. What's up with that? This is a $3K fridge. GE Cafe should make better appliances. This is a luxe appliance for those of us who can afford the splurge. I've wanted one for years and took the dive. The failure of a the control panel is a major disappointment. All these electronics don't do much but beep at us. We just need to keep food cold at a certain temperature!

Installed for a few weeks and already had it serviced due to ice buildup and frozen drinks. Technician said it is a design flaw as there is no fan and thermostat is in the bottom drawer and this will be a continuous problem. If drinks are stored in the top section they will freeze, our temp is set to 42 f, and if drinks in the bottom do not have at least an inch between them they will freeze. Terrible design. Very sad about this. Do not buy.

Initially I was hesitant to spend a lot of money on this appliance, but my purchase was money well spent. I love the quality and robust build of this product and have had zero issues. I wasn™™t a fan when we first moved into our house and saw the under the counter refrigerators, but after seeing the limited space in our Cafe refrigerator, I came to like them. They work well, the layout is pretty good and the temp is consistent. I would probably install in a new house but would not choose Cafe judging by the experience with our range, ovens and dishwasher.

Stay away and do not purchase these drawers. This is my first product review, but I feel compelled to let consumers know about my experience.
We have owned these drawers for 1.5 years. We have had multiple service calls on the drawers while they are under warranty. Now that we are out of warranty GE will no longer support these drawers that have never worked properly. The service tech can no longer get the parts to fix these drawers, so we are just out of luck and need to go spend another $3k on new drawers. We will not be repurchasing these drawers or anything else from GE.
Customer service has been horrible as well. Every time that we have had to call there is a minimum 1 hour wait time. Seems like others are having issues with their products as well.

We purchased the Cafe as our primary fridge for our small kitchen. I didn™™t want a large appliance in such a small space and this was a good option. The downsides are the expense of the fridge, it costs much more than a standard size fridge. Another issue is the plastic container that comes with the fridge, the lids are not attached and they slide awkwardly/or fall off. The metal spacers in the upper drawer are useless and not needed, but they are fixed and cannot be removed. At times the fridge can be quite loud with an odd humming noise. Finally, the fridge temp has to be kept to about 40 to ensure that food at the back doesn™™t freeze.

Product is Good. Functions well. Cooling is good and controls are good. One item to consider for product is to tighten fit of drawer slides. They have a very loose feeling.
GE Service is AWFUL! Product was purchased, shipped, and installed by Home Depot. Product arrived without handles. Home Depot contacted GE for handles. Took SIX MONTHS for GE to provide handles. No recourse. No comments. No help. Just excuses upon excuses.

This unit is a big improvement over our former beverage refrigerator, particularly in terms of access to and visibility of the items inside. No more getting down on my knees to find what I™™m looking for! The storage dividers are also very useful.

Paid upwards close to 2800 dollars for a under counter refrigerator. Model CDE06RP2NS1. Leaks water, makes loud noises. Just save your money go to a big box store get a 300 dollar one. Ordered in April 2020. Came in and installed October 2020. Ran off warranty October 21. Should last longer. Older GE appliances lasted years before giving problems.

The LED screen does not register real time temperature in the unit. It shows the setting that you program. Well it turns out my fridge has not been working since day one because the temperature reading I assumed was 34 degrees, but it was not going that low. Actual temp via thermometer was 46. Now my fridge is passed warranty and I™™m SOL

We installed it in our Butlers Pantry and we couldn™™t be happier! For our coffee station, we keep our creamer readily at hand. Soda pop, and other beverages are stored there - very convenient!

Refrigerator performs well. It seems to be a well made high quality product. Only criticism is the temperature seems to be fixed at 38 degrees F, we would prefer it to be colder, 34 degrees F is our preference.

This little fridge works awesome, we love the features it has. We were going to go with the glass front under counter but so glad we chose this one. Installed easy and the color/handle options are great to choose from. Fair warning, the stainless does show prints if you have little ones (stock up on wipes). Very happy so far.

I feel for the quality its over priced. The top drawer doesn't alway seal shut, so you always have to make sure you are giving it a shove to close and seal properly because the soft close doesn't work every time.

Unfortunately, when we bought this unit it was so new that there were not many reviews. We, as now have many others, have experienced serious icing of the unit, and it does not defrost itself. It ices so badly that it freeze over its own drain, and has to be manually defrosted. For an appliance with a list price of $3,100, three times the cost of every other beverage refrigerator in our home, and equal to the cost of a large (26 cu ft) refrigerator, it should work better. Appearance is nice, performance is good; it keep things nice and cold. Unfortunately, the icing issue makes it require regular maintanance that includes removal of everything from the unit. Cannot recommend. Move on.

I bought this drawer fridge to supplement the counter depth fridge in my new kitchen. I am pleased with the amount of space in this appliance! It is fantastic for holding milk, juice, beer, pop, and snacks that frees up much space in the main fridge. The drawers are soft close and very easy to open and close. Smooth! The only thing I™™m not thrilled about is that it cycles fairly often and is not noisy but not silent either. Fits beautifully in a 25™ opening under the countertops without any necessary trim kit. Easy install™¦great operation, and ample space. Nice buy!!

I am a single mom of five on A tight budget and after a remodel that has lasted forever, due to covid, we finally got all our appliances out and installed them only to find this forming ice in the back, exactly like another picture and beeping constantly, with both doors closed. Nothing we do helps. I removed the ice, I™™ve taken the whole unit out to unplug it and plug it back in, all the pegs are at the same lowest setting and unit does not wobble. It™™s just broken and I am so mad at myself for going with these appliances based solely on looks. I feel like a fool because of all the horror stories I™™ve read about customer service and repairs. This beeping, which you can hear with both doors closed, is driving me insane and nothing works to make it stop. Literally heartbroken because I can™™t afford to replace it and it™™s been plugged in for a month! Brand new. This should be illegal to sell things that are such junk right out of the box. No kinks in the gasket, no leveling issues, no too warm or too cold, it™™s just faulty and someone should make it right for the $3000 i spent plus shipping and tax™¦good grief

I love the convenience of this unit. It worked great for a while and then the control board stopped working. I tried replacing the board which was resonably price at 56 dollars but that didnt work. Having to pay a technician to repain a machine thats only a year old is quite disapointing. i didnt expect that for a 3000 fridge. my college fridge is still working after 20 years.

I love the concept but ice has formed behind the bottom drawer at 37 degrees. I called but was disconnected during repair scheduling and I have not heard back. My oven and microwave also needed repairing but was repaired quickly. Are you tired of sending someone to repair your faulty products?

This may be a duplicate review due to website issues. We waited six months for this to come in, and when we put it together it look good. We lightly carried it across our floor, and it scratched our Brand new flooring. When we put it in place we noticed there were no front leveling legs™¦ only back level legs. We called customer service and they sent us 4 back leveling leg replacements. Really? We based our kitchen around this single product. I™™m embarrassed FOR cafà appliances. Below are pictures.

Good design and nice looks, but the top drawer doesn't get as cold as bottom drawer. We even had the service tech come out and update the Mother Board. Top drawer is still a few degrees warmer than bottom.
