Very poor top of range cooking.

I really dislike stove as this as only one burner works and really is accessible. The front right burner works well. The front left burner boils on low and you can not simmer anything most things will burn on low. The back two burners are worthless too. The warmer center burner acts more like a low burner. The cooktop is hard to clean. The warming drawer works from time to time. Not consistent. The oven slide out rack is a nice feature.

Cafe Range is Nice Upgrade to Our Kitchen

We love our Cafe range! The ability to control via Wi-Fi is great. We also love the easy glide oven rack. The glass top is much easier to clean than our previous slide-in range. The burners are very responsive and heat evenly without scorching or burning. What I really love is how quiet the oven is. Our old oven used a fan to help cool down the oven when it was turned off. This oven doesn™€™t do that. One thing we noticed is the notifications could be louder though. When the timer goes off you can barely hear it. We™€™ve only had the oven for a little over two weeks now, so maybe we™€™ll find there™€™s a way to increase the volume on the timer. So far, we are loving this range!

Stainless scratches easy. Controls are poor at best, not what one would expect on a range at this price. They are difficult to control no in between settings it seems your either high or low. That makes it very frustrating while cooking. I may have a dud who knows. Lesson learned.

Broke down three times in 5 years. Poor quality.

We have purchased this range 5 years ago. It's beautiful and works perfect with our white cabinets. But it has broken down three times within the short 5 years period. At this point we have paid more than $1000 dollars to repair this range. It's always a little bit after one year (when the warranty expires), then the fast burner broke down again. It's beyond my imagination. I never expected GE's appliances quality to be this poor. I have completely lost trust in GE because of this range.

We™€™ve only had our new stove for a short time. The only thing at this point that would make it 10 star is to have in work with Siri and to have a little more space between the hour digit and the minutes. Right now, 1:07 pm looks like 107 something. The pm and am should be slightly larger and leave more space between the hour and minutes.

Range only delivered today shortly after noon. Have had very little time to use it. Very Pleased with appearance and also that it apparently has a warming drawer which was a desired feature that I didn't think new products had anymore. It also seems to be quite intuitive to use. Quite disappointed to find there is no operating/instruction manual except online and I realize that is the new world I live in. Have yet to find online manuals/instructions I was told existed.

LIght knob does not turn on all the time.

I am giving it a 2 star because I have had my electric slide in CAFE for 2 days and already when i turn on the knob for the interior light to look in when cooking, it does not work. I love the design and got all matching appliances but I am really disappointed in this part not working. Today was the first day using it, I can't see that I am doing anything wrong. So if I am then I will leave a positive review. But I want to return it now. Addition to original. This morning I thought let me try the light again. It came on, Now i just tried it and it did not. The light inside comes on when you open door but the knob light doesn't work consistently. Also, the finish just won't come clean. It shows every spot. Not a very good finish. Since I have only had the stove for 2 days and the light is being difficult I will maybe replace. To me its a defective light or panel. Don't want to take any chances Why would it come on and then not come on. I gave it a 3 stars now because it came on. I still love the design of this range but not crazy about the finish because of spots. Have to figure it out,

Glass top issues

Overall good product. Big disappointment is the glass top. In less than a few days I had to use a razor Blade to clean glass top. The top scratched easily. I have had electric glass top stoves for ~50 years and never had this happen. The user manual does reference using this process. Very disappointed in th glass top. In addition I had to get rid of new caraway cookware as the glass top has slight ripple finish which removed the aluminum from the pan and deposits on the glass top. Again making the cleaning process more difficult

We like the looks of the range, but I wish it had the knobs in the back instead of in the front. Also wish it had raised edges by the burners so if you spilled something, it wouldn't run down the sides of the range top. Oven works great.

I bought this range while the kitchen was being remodeled at a vacation home and it wasn™€™t installed until 9 months later. I injured my back during installation and was laid up for the next 3 months. It wasn't until 10 days after the warranty expired that a family member told me that the small burner, right front, hasn™€™t worked since installation. Now out of warranty. Tried to get factory service and not a single appliance repair service covers my area, factory or local. It™€™s only 25 minutes from a fair sized town. Range still broken! Don™€™t know what to do.

My range is only 4 months old. I wanted to try the steam clean option. It did not work. I™€™m very disappointed because the range was not cheap. I should try the other options, who knows what else could be wrong. I also purchased a cafe refrigerator. I have had it for 14 months. Almost immediately I had service for a drip inside the refrigerator, two parts were replaced. Recently there was a build up of ice in my freezer, luckily I purchased the extended warranty, otherwise this repair would be on me. These appliances are expensive and they are not well made.

3 years ago, my wife decided to renovate the kitchen. We decided to buy the top brand with high quality, even at high cost. We bought the Cafe oven three years at Lowes, with 2 years extended warranty, which was expired this July. In August, the light for Hot Top was never off. The sensor must be broken. This week, one of 5 top stoves, with3 heating options, stopped working. Very frustrated. Even though we were careful to select, even though we paid more, this still gave us inconvenience and upset. Things happen, but nowadays, it is difficult to find products with high quality and durability. We miss the Japanese appliances in the old days......

Beautiful design, but the top burners heat unevenly from the start, and the glass cook top was broken within 3 years of use (ordered in November of 2021 and installed for use in January 2022, glass shattered on top with very gentle use and pressure while cleaning) - expensive to repair.

We love the design and function of our new Cafà electric range. It matches our Cafà refrigerator and microwave and adds a touch of class to our kitchen. Everything works well. We especially like the rolling rack, the power boil, and the warming drawer. Ranges with a warming drawer are not very common. One problem is we could not link the range with Alexa (to do voice commands) even though our Alexa app says it is enabled through the SmartHQ app. Others have had the same problem. The range does respond remotely through the SmartHQ app, however. Finally, there is no button to sync the left two burners on this model; that is found on other models and would have been good to have.

Love the Cafe range so far. Beautiful design, fit and finish. Love the controls. My wife loves the oven for baking sourdough bread. Heats up quickly. The 3rd rack will likely never get used. Takes up room in the oven. Looking forward to many years of use.

Poor performance and sparks in the oven

We had a Bosch that failed and went to CAFE brand because of their reputation for being full featured and reliable. Although there are sufficient features, there are some issues with this stove. We find 2 of the stove top burners are not good at temperature regulation. The large one on the right side is too hot even on low. The oven convection settings seem to be cooler than what is shown on the screen. Tonight while baking cookies it started to spark and smoke in the back by the fan. I immediately turned it off. The fire went out but WHAT????!!!! Not happy overall with this stove.

Controls are confusing. without glasses we 80 yr olds have 2040 vision . please make them readable for such vision. Sometimes HI is at beginning, sometimes at end. Had stove 2 months and still am unsure.

This is my second CafÙ 30" Smart Slide-In, Front-Control, Radiant and Convection Range. The first went with the house we sold and I wanted one in our new home. I love the convenience and accuracy of this range. The looks are nice and there is a lock for the controls. The app is nice to have so if I'm busy and just want to pop a frozen piza or what ever in, I can start the oven before i get to the house.

This is a beautiful range. I love that I can choose between steam cleaning and self cleaning. It's wonderful that I can air fry and proof and convection cook., there are so many ways to make great meals with this range.The only issue I've had is that the knob for the warming element and the knob for the oven light won't move past the number 2 while there are eight numbers on these knobs. I'm going to contact customer service about it and hopefully we can figure out what's going on, GE products have always been reliable and durable, I trust that this one will be too. This range is going to help me make many great meals for my family and for many years to come.

It worked great until the glass cook top broke at the five year mark. Must have been because we used so many pans and the oven at the same time. Kind of silly such an expensive range experienced a materials failure in such a short time window. Everything else was great up until that point

Not happy about the power burner, not all three ™€œrings™€ light up and get hot. The middle element looks ghosted out. When I called the store to mention it, the tech came out and said that™€™s how the burner should respond. He wasn™€™t convincing. Also, due to poor design of the glass door you can™€™t see your food readily even with the light on.
