This freezer is nice. Lots of storage on the door, and I particularly like the green light that indicates the freezer is working. We have lost food before not realizing a freezer stopped working. I also like that there is an alarm if the temp is not low enough.

I replaced my chest freezer with the Frigidaire upright frost free freezer and I am loving it. I can see all the foods at a glance without bending down to search the food at the bottom. I found 6 bags of shrimp at the bottom. This will help me not to buy so many duplicates. This garage ready freezer is the perfect for me. I recommend to everyone who has a chest freezer.

This freezer replaced our 32-year-old Kelvinator, which recently died. The features on this unit are all thoughtful and welcome. We especially appreciate the green light that indicates the unit is functioning properly (our old one quietly died, and we lost most of the food), the spaciousness of the shelves, the bottom basket, the excellent LED light, and, most importantly, the auto-defrosting feature!

So I™™m trying Frigidaire brand this time and hope it has better longevity.I like the smaller footprint versus both of my previous GE Upright Freezers. Purchased at Lowe's and installed by the delivery crew. Simply plugged in and waited for it to reach 0 degrees. This is a replacement for a 7 cu ft chest freezer. We love the increased size (15 cu ft) and the many adjustable storage shelves.

Really like our new 16 cubic ft upright freezer! It replaces a similar one we had for years, and I appreciate the improvements. Shelves are not as deep, so things are easier to find. There are several options for shelf placement so I can arrange things for our usual items, and the air circulation seems to be much better than the old model.

Got this as additional freezer space for the basement and it's been working out very well. Set the dial to the middle and it has been holding at -6° on average. Doesn't make much noise at all, and the back, sides, & top are always cool to the touch, so this unit doesn't produce much heat while working.So far it has been a great buy, will update after Year 1.

This upright freezer is a replacement for my 14 year old chest freezer, which is still working. I had it moved to my basement. I wanted a freezer that I didn™™t have to defrost on a regular basis. I also wanted a deep freezer that I didn™™t have to dig through to find the item that I needed. With this upright freezer I can organize everything on shelves and know exactly where something is as soon as I open the door. No more digging around to the bottom any longer. This upright freezer fits every need that I have. It keeps everything deeply frozen without all of the ice crystal buildup that a chest freezer gets. The compressor is super quiet and sometimes I wonder if it™™s even working. But there is a bright green light at the bottom of the freezer outside right underneath the door that lets me know that it is still keeping my food frozen until I need it. Plus I love having that bright green light to use as my night light in my mud room where the freezer is located.
