How about asking for a survey or review after a year of use or better 6 months after the warranty expires. That way it would be an honest review of the product and any customer service events/problems that may have arisen.

Nice fridge with good features. Fits well in our kitchen. Deliberately bought this model (without many bells/whistles) to hedge against the likelihood of some component failing in the first year. After having it for a week, the thing started chiming at us non-stop for no apparent reason. Turns out the control panel had some kind of malfunction. It was replaced quickly by the dealer who sold it to us. Seems to be corrected now. Bottom line: as a consumer, you can have no confidence in the reliability of any major appliance when you buy it. It is a crap shoot, and you™€™re just as likely to get a lemon as you are to get a trouble-free unit. It™€™s just the way it is. The best you can hope for is to get one that works well enough to keep your groceries cold for a few years and allow you to put away enough money to buy a new one in 3 years as you will invariably have to do.

For our new house build, we chose this counter-depth French Door Frigidaire refrigerator/freezer, and we couldn't be happier with it! We've never had a new-style refrigerator like this; the refrigerator is a dream; we are able to open one side &/or the other to find & get out exactly what we need! As it's a new experience for us (we'd always had the standard "frig on the bottom with one door opening out to the left & the freezer on top"), it took a bit of getting used to as far as finding where to put what, but we quickly adjusted. We find that we have MUCH more room with this great refrigerator! We're learning exactly where everything fits & it's become seamless for us preparing our meals.The freezer, compared to old large on-top freezer, seems a bit smaller, but we're learning the intracacies of fitting things in & stacking them for easy pick-out. We're utilizing the small very front section to stack in our frozen dinners, putting waffles & large frozen pizzas in the top drawer to the right of the ice maker tray. Speaking of, this ice maker makes the perfect-sized nearly cubed-shaped ice! And, it's always full.We wholeheartedly recommend this excellent Frigidaire refrigerator/freezer!

User manual not readily available even searching on line. Needed to chat with agent to obtain. Says ice maker has auto shutoff via a sensor but cannot locate sensor. Also describes right upper shelf as folding under and dropping down, but does not show how, slides under rear half, but not folding down. Doors also not aligned when delivered but at least the manual gives directions to rectify. Ice maker is fast despite other reviews read, and fridge not noisy.

Refrigerator freezing all food. DO NOT BUY THIS FRIDGE.

The fridge was delivered on 11/1/25 from Lowe™€™s. Everything started normal and the digital thermostat was reading 38°. I purchased an analog thermometer that was reading in the low twenties and my produce began to freeze. I bumped up the thermostat and nothing helped. So I put in a work order through the Frigidaire website to have a technician come out and look at it under warranty. He recalibrated the thermostat on a Friday and said give it 24 hours to set up. That did nothing. Everything was continuing to freeze and the company that did the work isn™€™t open on the weekends so I was stuck with a malfunctioning fridge. I put in another work order for the soonest appointment which was Tuesday. The technician never came to look at the fridge but texted me and said it sounds like the sensors and control in the fridge need replaced to fix it. Of course none of their warehouses have the parts in stock. So again, I™€™m stuck with a broken refrigerator. My wife calls Frigidaire and the best they can do is place an expedited order for the parts and a measly $50 for the ruined food in our refrigerator. And the fridge is not eligible for return or money back. Also the fridge shows discontinued on the website. If I could go back, I would avoid buying a Frigidaire appliance altogether because of their poor customer service with a brand new defective refrigerator.

The refrigerator serves all our needs. Is compact and attractive in its space. The only issues we have are: Does not have a space for butter storage. The main drawer is very short it depth so things need to be pretty flat. It™€™s also cut in on both sides (one side has the water filter) so it is very narrow. Doesn™€™t allow for much storage. The plastic material used for the door storage shelves is cheap looking and feels it. But in comparing it to other refrigerators, it™€™s better than most for the price point.

So Far, So Good!

First it may not be fair but I am only giving any new appliance I buy 4 stars based on the inferior quality of all new appliances vs older ones. I would love these companies to bring back the original Stainless (heavy duty) steel. Using the right product, fingerprints were a breeze to get off but I guess these companies heard the complaints of having to wipe off fingerprints. (waawaawaa). Ok now for this fridge. I happen to love it! I have an older Frigidaire fridge in an apartment in my home which has been problem free for many years which is why I considered Frigidaire. My previous was a GE Side by Side and I wanted to go with a French door this time. I also wanted water and ice inside but with a dispenser you don't have to push hard or struggle with and I liked the location of this one compared to other brands. So far that works flawlessly and comes out faster than the water from my GE. (Sorry GE, it was hard letting you go lol). I put a folded paper towel under it to see if it leaks. It hasn't. I love the ice in the freezer and it makes plenty for my family. Granted we aren't huge ice users but the bin fills up in a few days. Initially you have to give it time to fill and don't forget to throw the first batch out. Love love the lighting in this unit. Everyone that has opened the doors says 'wow'. It just looks really nice. I was worried about fitting all the condiments because my husband goes way overboard with condiments lol. There is a lot of room on these bins and I have a lot of extra shelf space. I think square ft wise, this was almost the same as what I had, but feel it fits more. Maybe due to all the bins being so large. I miss having a butter keeper but I use the top right bin for now. Not a big deal. So far the custom cool drawer holds cheeses, Tortillas, any snacks. It's great there are multiple uses for that drawer when needed. I immediately bought two refrigerator thermometers to keep track of how it's doing in case there may be a problem. The fridge stays at 37. After opening doors several times, like during making dinner or putting groceries away, it will go up as high as 39 or even 40, but in no time, it is back to 37. Freezer has stayed at 0 for the most part. Again if the freezer draw is opened several times, it goes up a little, but comes right back down. It is so quiet! The only thing heard on mine is the water going fast into the line for ice and then when the ice drops. You could probably line the ice bin with something, but it doesn't bother me at all. It operates so quietly! Quieter than my GE was. I wish I could attest to the veggies staying fresh longer but I didn't realize the filters weren't installed and thought the two that came with it were just extra. Oops. I will say, it is Oct 7th and this was delivered on Sept 29th and what was put in there then is still fresh, without the filters being in. I was trying to find how to install them. Wasn't sure if you have to pop the cover off, or just slide them in behind it. Oh one negative is the instructions. We didn't like the layout of them, not concise and difficult to follow and illustrations need improvement. Moreso for the dishwasher than the refrigerator. But, we got them in and they are working well. I have to admit I was very torn between going with a GE again vs this Frigidaire. The GE was not problem free, had to replace the motherboard? (think it was called that) twice and then some sensors due to cooling issues, but doing that kept it going for 16 years. I prefer the bins I had with heavy white plastic trim all around them and they seemed sturdier than these. I think most bins are made cheaper now though. However I love the features this has, the look of it, how quiet it is and how it functions and feel it was a much better value for the price. The only GE I considered was way more expensive and also had issues stated with cooling. I highly recommend this refrigerator based on my use so far. My husband still has to make a slight adjustment on one of the doors. Forgot to do that, but it's very slight.

Worst purchase ever

I purchased the refrigerator direct from Frigidaire. I paid for installation as well. They delivered the refrigerator and installed the handles over the protective plastic. I had to remove the handles to take off the plastic. Next, the freezer drawer did not seal. You could see a gap between the drawer seal and frame. Additionally, the refrigerator would not stop beeping and there was tons of frost buildup in the freezer. After a few tries, I was able to schedule an appointment to get the freezer door fixed. The appliance repair man was able to fix the freezer door and stop the beeping. However, the French doors do not seal. There is moisture buildup below the doors on top of the freezer drawer now. The refrigerator is back to constantly beeping. The refrigerator was delivered on 9/3/25. This has been the worst appliance purchase I have ever made. I am in the middle of a large kitchen remodel. I designed my kitchen using Frigidaire appliances. I will no longer be purchasing Frigidaire appliances.

We purchased the model GRFG2353AF refrigerator in an appliance store in September 2025. We decided on a smaller size than our previous refrigerator because its only the two of us in the house.Pros: After delivery and set up, the temps had reached their suggested settings; 37 fridge, 0 freezer within 5-6 hours.Controls are simple and easy.The ice maker started working immediately. When the icemaker does its thing, it is very loud but the noise only lasts a few seconds. Once a full bin of ice is reached, the ice maker will check for weight to determine if it should drop more cubes. I like the size of the cubes; they are about 1 square inch. The icemaker functions well.Cons:This unit is unexpectedly, surprisingly, and annoyingly LOUD. It's like the diesel truck that idles endlessly while making a delivery to a neighbor. We are not happy with this noise level. It's just.....wrong. There was a 26 minute moment of time when the refrigerator was absolutely quiet, like it had turned itself off. It wasn't off, of course, but those 26 minutes were heavenly. This unit is louder than the one we replaced, which was larger and 11 years old.The Adjustable Temp Drawer has settings for Meat/Seafood, Cold Drinks, Deli/Snacks. The Meat/Seafood temp turned out to be 37 degrees. The Cold Drinks varies between 34-37. The Deli/Snacks temp settled at 36-37 degrees. We aren't sure why its called "adjustable" because it doesn't seem we can adjust the temps.The freezer has a separator bar which slides left and right. It cannot be removed. The refrigerator is on the small side, and this bar prevents using the full size of the freezer. There is no need for this bar! Organization is key, and once you think you've nailed it, something else needs to be frozen and the exercise starts over. We did not receive a User Guide at delivery time. We found it on Frigidaire's website and is 44 pages long. The the user guide that comes in the delivery packet is for the guys who do the install. It's 16 pages.Summary:Overall, the refrigerator performs it's main purpose/function by keeping food at healthy temps and frozen at appropriate temps. However, we would not recommend this model to anyone simply because of the loud operation and the space-limiting bar in the freezer. These two reasons cause our 2 star rating.You're welcome.

Overall we like the Three door/Counter Depth refrigerator. But™€¦the only instructions that were given to us were the installation instructions. There is no Owner™€™s Manual. I looked online and the Frigidaire site does not accommodate a feature for manuals or email contacts. I hope someone reads this and gets back to me.

We recently replaced our nearly 20 year old Frigidaire refrigerator with a new Frigidaire. After being a work horse for our family, our old one was looking tired. Our new Frigidaire has loads more space inside, much brighter lighting, and is far quieter than our old one. So happy with our upgrade!

Our first refrigerator was delivered and defective. The retailer tried to fix to no avail. It took about a month to get a replacement.. we have it and it works fine.also in keeping with the finish we also purchased a stove and microwave. It was a tough month waiting and having the refrigerator beep ever 30 seconds. And it was in an open space.

We have only had the refrigerator a few weeks and have a repairman scheduled as it is making an unusually loud noise. Hoping that will be resolved as the refrigerator is great. I love having all the space, especially helpful to have the door shelves to hold all the bottles. The freezer is problematic for me. I have less room than my side by side frig and piling everything in a drawer doesn™€™t work. I miss not having shelves to place bake goods and items that shouldn™€™t get squeezed. We have not hooked up the icemaker or water line.

Not a lot to choose from

I have a very small kitchen so I needed a counter depth fridge so that it wouldn't dominate. This refrigerator is very large for it's relatively shallow depth. I like that very much. It seems to work fine right out of the chute. But there are a couple things I'm not crazy about. First, the doors don't close on their own very easily so you have to make sure to close them or they stay open. Second, something about the design of the freezer makes it not not really hold all that much despite its size. it seems there's a lot of machinery in that space that takes up what should be storage space. I don't use the water filter so I can't opine on that. But other than that everything seems to work just fine and it looks pretty good.

This is a very solid fridge, a big upgrade over our old kitchenaid model. The french door design is very convenient and increases the total fridge space, as compared to our old side by side machine, but at the cost of some freezer space. That works well for our family with young kids. The aesthetics are not quite as sleek as say a Bosch model, but at half the price I cannot argue there! Like the water dispenser feature inside. Also makes good quantity of ice.

Initially we were happy with our refrigerator. Then we had a very brief break in the power. Thats when we discovered the refrigerator needs to be MANUALLY RESET. If we had not been home, we would have lost all the food in the fridge and freezer. This is NOT a consumer friendly ™€œfeature™€. Instead of comfortably leaving the house for a few days, thought has to be put into reducing all foods in the fridge and freezer to avoid food waste. WHY has this issue not been fixed?
