We love this oven. It does everything we need it to do. The only problem is the glass top staying clean. That is the worse part about this oven. The 1st day the glass top started fading looking bad. And there™€™s no warranty for aesthetics which is a major reason why we purchased this stove. Other than this the oven is 100% amazing.

This oven works and looks great! I love having the smaller option for fast preheat times and for smaller everyday use and the bigger one for bigger items. The air fry option is amazing too. The only complaint that I have is that the glass cooktop seems to be harder to clean than other glass tops I've had in the past, but that's not a huge deal.

No sliding rack in lower oven, wire rack flexes with Dutch oven on it. Our last GE double oven had the sliding rack, and the standard racks did not flex. It would has been nice to have white led display like old one did to match GE microwave. Air fryer in lower oven is a joke, takes forever to cook breaded fish cutlets that are thin. Also new oven did not come with cleaning samples, last one did.

Failed After 36 Days ™€“ Control Panel Dead

However, this situation is not a routine warranty issue it indicates the unit was defective at the time of sale. A major appliance should not require a significant electronic repair after just one month of normal use. This raises concerns about product reliability and overall quality. I am disappointed that a defective unit is being treated as a standard repair case rather than being replaced. Buyers should be aware of this risk, especially when using the self-clean feature.

Bad dual oven design.

The large oven is on the bottom. This makes placing a large heavy roaster difficult to place in the oven. Having the large oven on the top is preferred, however there are no models available like this. My old oven was designed this way. Unfortunately it had to be replaced after 20 years of use.

Great range; burner sizes are misleading

I absolutely love this range and all the thought that clearly went into designing it. The remote connectivity is incredibly useful, the little 'one minute warning' beep on the timer, the cheerful little chimes and beeps, the fact that the oven lights stay on until you explicitly turn them off, and the no-preheat air fry is AWESOME. I absolutely love having two ovens. They work fantastically well and have made making multiple dishes at the same time so easy. I can get rid of my crummy old countertop air fryer that was impossible to clean. My only gripe is that the burner outlines don't match the actual heating elements. So if I put a pan on the stove that matches the size of the outline, the actual burner is smaller and won't heat my pan correctly. I've adapted to this without major issue and still love the stove, but I do wish that the outlines more accurately reflected the size of the burner.

I love the 2 ovens. The small one is the most used one. Always turn temperature in small oven 25 degrees lower than called for. The larger oven is perfect for all the large items. The burner sizes are awesome. One for every size pan you have.

Then we experienced melting knobs. With this being the second stove, the front left burner has died. This is the worst stove we've ever owned and we regret replacing our old stove. Junk, do not buy it.

I wish 0 stars were an option. Hands down THE worst range I™€™ve ever used! Stove top temperature regulation is non existent. Each burner takes forever to heat up, then once they get hot, they just keep getting hotter and hotter. SAVE YOUR MONEY!

Bad stove and bad customer service

Well, I'm giving this stove one star. I bought this stove because I liked it because it has two ovens, and I've always used a Water Pool stove. I have no complaints about my previous stove; it worked very well. It's just that since we remodeled the kitchen, I wanted the microwave oven to be in the stove, and this was the only stove that had a large and a small oven, which is why it caught my attention. But it stopped working, and I contacted customer service for the stove company. They came to the house, and the technician told me the stove was no good because there were cockroaches. That's absurd. I have cockroaches; I've been dealing with them for two years since an infestation arrived. I hired a company to fumigate, but it seemed to attract more. But with the kitchen remodel and everything, they've already gotten away. I don't think the problem is the cockroaches. This man made me feel like my house was the dirtiest place in town. This man, like, can't be in a place where there are these kinds of insects. I mean, if he can't be in a place like that, I think the job he has is the wrong one. He should look for another job because if the stoves are like this, they should put a red label on them saying, "This stove is specially made for houses that have never had cockroaches or for houses that are prone to having cockroaches." Why? Because then it means the stove is allergic to cockroaches. Cockroaches only land on it, and the stove stops working. I mean, I should stop selling the stoves to this company because they also told me that if the company finds out that he has contact with cockroaches, they're going to cancel the one-year warranty. I need to know if I can get my money back. That would be so much better because how is it possible that I paid more than $1,000 for a stove that doesn't work and breaks down after four months? So my money is going to... The garbage, or what, they also made me feel very, very bad, they made me feel terrible. The man said I had to contact a company to fumigate for the insects. He told me he doesn't have to come and give me orders here in my house. I mean, he doesn't like his job, he's allergic to some insect. I told him to look for another job, he shouldn't be here and I didn't want any more contact with him. Working in houses, he doesn't know what the houses are like, he doesn't know what pests there are, if people are sick or anything. So if he's very sensitive, he's a porcelain technician, he should look for another job, this job isn't for him. And I also contacted customer service for the stove, and they also made me feel bad. I can't explain the way they made me feel, but they made me feel very bad.( MY PREVIOUS STOVE STILL WORKS)

I paid a LOT of money for this range. If I could give zero stars for this appliance AND for GE service, I would. I bought this almost one year ago. The first one had so many problems that the store replaced it. The second one has terrible problems too, mostly with the lower oven. It burns things on the top while the bottom comes out way undercooked. Plus, the air fry does not work well. I wish I could upload photos here so y'all could see what I'm talking about. I've spent hours on the phone with GE, they sent a tech guy out here who didn't fix it, and I've had to throw away a lot of food. Not only do I not recommend this product, but at this point, I cannot recommend buying anything made by GE. I wish it were different.

Avoid purchasing this oven

I have had the worst experience with this range. The burner rings are the wrong size and when I had a repairman out to fix it he brought new ones. However they did not fit and he said this range is just built like that. It takes 20 minutes to get a small pot of water to boil and at that is never really gets to a rapid boil. Then I used the self cleaning option on the oven and there was a loud bang and the lights went off and the doors remained locked. It blew my breaker. A repairman was sent out and he fixed it. However, the next time I put on the self cleaner there was another explosion, smoke and a burning smell. Again the power went out and it blew the breaker. I highly recommend avoiding purchasing this range.

So far so good! I am really liking the analog burner arrangement rather than the old touch board. The ovens both heat well and appear to bake evenly. Seems the burners are actually more consistent than our old range, which makes for easier skillet work. Not much different from our former range, so not a big learning curve.

Need black oven racks

I am very happy with my new GE Profile double oven range #PB965YPFS. I also bought a GE Profle microwave and they sun beautifully! When I turn on a burner, the light is programmed to turn - very easy. I bought a black sliding roller rack for the oven prior to receiving because GE recommended it for my oven - great! However, the racks in the oven came warped, sharp edges, rough, etc. called GE and they sent replacements. They came and are the same. Please let me know how I can get black oven racks. I am willing to buy. Just need model #s.

Stove top burners high heat issue

The double oven with the air fryer is great! The problem I have is the burners. They stay on high heat for significant time after turning the seat lower. I have found it necessary to move the pan to a different burner in order to reduce heat to simmer.

Very Good Double Oven Range

We've had our stove for 6 weeks now, and it heats very rapidly. I initially had to adjust the oven's temperature with an oven temperature gauge, both the top & bottom. GE needs to check these ovens better for this! This is the only complaint is the quality control at the factory! Overall, we're very satisfied with the double oven, although I wish the warm selection would have been for the top oven and not the bottom like our old LG oven.
