Nice fridge, door handles and adjustable shelves are the best features, BUT
ice cream does not fully freeze in freezer even when the cool ™number™ is increased.

The adjustable shelving allows for tall items on top (water bottles, milk cartons) and longer items below (eggs, bread). The door storage is perfect for juice boxes, condiments and butter/cheese.
Be careful closing the crisper drawers. It can get stuck on the sliding moisture control. The mechanism for leveling the fridge is very cumbersome. It also prevents you from moving the fridge for cleaning.
I like the size of the freezer storage. Would prefer the bottom section to be solid rather than open basket.

I had to reverse the door and in doing so I noticed the hole on the bottom to put the insulation ? in was not very well finished. You can't see it unless you turn the door upside down but it makes me wonder about the rest of the workmanship. Also the maytag sign on the fridge door was very crooked and needed to be heated up in order to reposition it. This is my second of the same fridge and the quality now doesn't seem to match that of 20 years ago.

It is the perfect fridge. I love it. My only wish was that I did not get it sooner. It was delayed for shipment by several weeks.

New fridge to replace old. Nice features. Hanley was installed facing out and had to adjust. Lower deli drawer is questionable on proper alignment.

I bought this refrigerator after our previous Maytag started to have water dispenser issues . It was 11 years old and we really wanted to get away from the side by side design. We like the capacity and ease of access of the bottom mount freezer in this model and the single door upper fridge which actually fits our kitchen layout better. We have always purchased Maytag and just recently upgraded our dishwasher as well!

I've had this refrigerator for a couple months now and quite like it. As far as I can tell the temperature is stable, I only used the recommended settings so far, its silent enough for this type of unit.
The shelving can be adjusted to accommodate most usage, I like the third drawer under the two fruits and veggie drawers, its the best place to put cheese, cold cuts, etc.
When I first got it, it has a weird industrial smell which went away after a week or two after adding an open box of baking soda in the door, I recommend to deep clean it first prior to use it.
The door handles look a bit minimalist to my taste but they are also made entirely of metal instead of cheap plastic, unlike other brands/models I've seen around. This unit is built like a tank and I'm confident it will survive being (mis)handled by hungry kids and teenagers. I recommend this product.

I bought this fridge in July 2024. I didn't receive it until October 26, 2024. I was very disappointed that it took so ling to get it. Then I was more disappointed to discover how cheaply made this fridge is. With a name like Maytag I thought it was going to be an outstanding product. Firstly no way to level the back of the fridge. If there is we couldn't figure it out. We did figure out the front, but had to put some felt pads to level it out at the back. Then on the inside, the drawers are so hard to open and close. They don't glide at all. Also the little tab that controls the humidity on the drawers broke while i was trying to close the drawer. Truly unbelievable. On a positive note, the freezer is more roomy, deeper and easier to for you to be able to access your food.

The meat drawer, beneath the crispers, should be easier to slide open. Otherwise I like it.

Only had it for less than 60 days and it is still working. It replaced a new Whirl pool fridge that croaked after 60 days and was not fixed within 30 days. They offered us $150.00 to get a Bar fridge in its place but have never seen the money!! Great service!!
Trust the Maytag one will give us years of trouble free service like the previous Maytag we had for 23 years.

There is a vibrating noise every once in a while, sounds like it is coming from the freezer when it turns on, is this normal? The fridge comes on, doesn™™t make a noise, it works fine. Other than the freezer, everything else is great.

Was very happy that this fridge was almost the same as my old one.
only thing would be to make the crispers just a tad less deep - by an inch - so you could put taller containers on the shelf above
