Avoid this fridge at all costs !
I bought this fridge in Feb 2025. It™™s April 2026 and it™™s never worked properly. Sounds like either a space ship or a washing machine. They™™ve sent a service person out 4 times and I™™m about to have them come out a 5th time. Listen - DO. OT TAKE A CHANCE AND BUY THIS FRIDGE ! it™™s junk made with the absolute cheapest parts available. Do you know what the Maytag warranty dept offered me for not being able to fix it ? Get this, they want me to buy another fridge at 30% off ! ð They want be to now spend another $1000 on another junk fridge ! That™™s their answer. So, kids, when you are shopping for a fridge - get a very clear explanation of your warranty and understand that they won™™t be able to fix it and you will be left with a big old FU !

Very limited options for full size fridge with lower height restriction. Like the deli drawer, shelves flexible to your set up. Like the door finish, limits fingerprints.

We have had the fridge for about a month now and we really like it. The only thing we find is the shelving doesn't allow for tall items such a juice, milk etc. The door has room for milk jug but it would be nice to also have shelf space as well. Not a deal breaker as we do love this fridge.

Bought it this summer because my fridge was pushing 20yrs and not keeping ice cream frozen. This unit with a bottom drawer is really different for me.. I keep going to reach up top for the freezer. But it has done great at keeping fridge stuff cool, freezer stuff frozen. Quiet, and looks good in our space.

Absolute trash. Unbelievable this fridge is even being sold never mind the high price of $2100 before tax for a 18cb ft fridge. The drawers are so cheap and poorly designed that for the first 20 minutes I was sure they must be installed wrong so I kept messing with them to try and improve the way they work. This fridge being sold as is is a crime.

I thought I would like the new configuration of the wide narrow drawer below the vegetable crispers. Unless you try to open it from the exact centre front of the drawer, there is difficulty/wobbly troubles trying to open it. Maybe further design would include a glide track for the drawer to sit on to stabilize its motion when opening and closing it.

I bought this Maytag fridge to replace a Kenmore (Maytag built fridge), that I have had for 10-15 yrs!! I have a defined space in which I can place my fridge and the New Maytag fridge, fits it perfectly!! I also seem to thing that the new Maytag fridge has more interior space than the Kenmore fridge.

I love this fridge! I didn™™t think I would like the freezer drawer but it functions so well compared to my top freezer: more room, easier removal of food items. No more balancing act to get frozen food out! Also having the fridge contents at eye level is a game changer..No more ™down on my knees™™ to see what™™s in the fridge. It opens and closes easily. Fingerprints wipe off without a trace. I would buy it again. Thanks for reinforcing my belief that Maytag is dependable, the best!

I first had a Frigidaire Gallery top freezer and it was constant noise. I was able to return it and due to size restrictions, I found that the Maytag bottom freezer fit perfect and is so much more quiet. Night and Day difference. Best move I ever made. If I have one issue, it is that the crisper and deli drawers don't open and close smoothly. Small issue for a very nice refrigerator.

I love the bottom freezer. I was a little concerned at first as I find bending over difficult with false hips. However, I find it great that I can see all there is in the drawer and it is not as difficult as I thought. My old fridge 's top freezer was much more difficult to see what was in and quite often had to 1/2 empty it to get what I was looking for.

We purchased this refrigerator on December 03, 2024 after seeing this sample model on the floor of our local Prince Edward Island furniture store. The merchant delivered a similar unit (3 units on site) from their warehouse. Upon arrival and after installation we noticed the 'Maytag' insignia (top left refrigerator door) was installed on a slant - first noticeable 'difference.' We were so-used-to our 48 year old 'ColdSpot' Refrigerator and still taking a large amount of time getting used to the 'Maytag.' Comparing the NEW to the OLD we know that it will not last as long as the old and expect repairs within the first five years! The refrigerator space is less than the Old and apart from reading the available information on appropriate stocking there is not enough available space for more than two or three large milk/juice/wine containers anywhere (and the door is not the best available storage area!) The 'crisper drawers are weak/wonky/wobbly (compared to the OLD) upon reentry - poor gliding mechanism. The lower full-width drawer is much worse. After loading the fridge and upon re-entry we found one of the smaller loaded shelves had slipped out of position on the right - supports not suitable. We think that the setting on 4 for refrigerator/freezer is not cold enough, moved it to 3 now testing with room thermometer for appropriate temperature - the OLD would give a noticeable burst of cold air upon opening the door (certainly, know the refrigerator was working!). Storing tall containers is certainly a problem, i.e. Ketchup, Lemon, Vinegar, etc. - these all lying on their side! The freezer 'seems' ok (not in there as much!) could have been made smaller providing more refrigerator space. One last item, having to hold onto the refrigerator door preventing it from fully swinging open (possibly due to the loaded weight) is annoying. At installation, it was referenced that the refrigerator could be adjusted placing it off rollers on the floor and propping the front, decided having the preference of rolling the refrigerator for cleaning purposes - I'm working on a solution!

Overall the new fridge is fine. However, the drawers are not easy to slide in and out. There were a couple of adjustments I had to make--one stripped nut had to be glued into place.

Not impressed.Build quality is poor.Drawers are sticky and finicky to slide.Fridge door handle was loose and I snugged up the set screw myself.You couldn't even get your own nameplate on straight.

My husband & I purchased this Maytag fridge (this model in particular) because our existing fridge was on its last legs and we wanted the exact same style of fridge/layout. It was delivered in early June 2024 & 3 months later, we continue to be very happy with the fridge. We love the adjustable glass shelves & the fact there is still a covered section for butter. The door bins can fit a dozen eggs (while still remaining in their own packaging). The fridge functions perfectly. It took a bit to get used to the pull-out drawer style of freezer but we have gotten used to it now. I have since purchased covered ice cube trays to keep stacked on the freezer shelf which works really well. I also love the stainless steel finish (it™™s not 100% finger print proof but better than most others). Overall, very happy with this Maytag fridge ð

I am happy with the style, i.e:bottom freezer as it allows for easy access to items in fridge and ease of cleaning.
The one downfall for me is how the vegetable, fruit and meat/cheese drawers do not slide in and out easily. I am concerned I will have problems down the road with this.

I got stiffed on my Nice maytag fridge and ended up having to settle for a not so nice Whirlpool look alike wanna be Maytag one!!
Aparently during g the one year of me supposedly having to wait for my new fridge to arrive
AnD was so promised I would eventually get it maytag decided to stop manufacturing the left hand hinge version?
All I can say is Not a nice job Maytag and whirlpool
